Vacancy – Finance Administrator

The Role

REAP are seeking a hard-working colleague to maintain records for all transactions, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and other book keeping activities. The Finance Administrator will track income and expenses efficiently and will be responsible to the REAP Manager.

Applicants are required to have a qualification in either Finance, Business Administration, Book keeping or Accounting. Although other education majors may be considered if it involves Finance, management or business.

In your job you will perform all activities and obligations as required to ensure that your duties are properly delivered as per your job description below:

  • Administration of REAP projects including grant claims, collating and storing evidence of spend and updating budgets
  • Day-to-day management of project finances with reporting responsibilities to the REAP Manager
  • Maintaining REAP financial records and accounts, including cash book, processing staff and volunteer expenses and payroll preparation for the accountants
  • Liaising with the REAP accountant and REAP Board to provide information for the annual accounts & Board meetings
  • Management and development of web site & IT resources
  • Purchasing and stock control of materials & equipment
  • Dealing with enquiries to REAP and signposting to other project staff and volunteers Working with relevant partners to deliver ongoing compliance (including SEPA registration) for compost collections by bike in Elgin
  • Designing and carrying out surveys & public consultation; report writing and supporting funding applications in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Working as part of the REAP team

Salary: £25,250

Location: Hybrid (Keith office and remote working)
