How to apply?
You can download each grant application form on the REAP website or request a paper copy from the REAP office. REAP can also assist you with your application and review your first draft before the deadline.
How much is available each year?
Edintore fund’s £64,600 each year toward community groups and charities, that meets the aims of the community benefit fund. This round is usually open in the Spring with the deadline in August.
Hill of Towie fund’s over £100,000 each year. The first round is open in late January with the deadline at the end of April. The second round is open in June with the deadline in October. Depending on the number of applications received, the fund may run one or two rounds.
How much can I apply for?
There is no limit on the amount you can apply for, but it’s recommended to split larger projects into smaller funded phases due to the high number of applicants.
Where to submit the application?
Submit your application to the REAP email address info@reapscotland.org.uk or hand-deliver to the office before the deadline. The deadlines will be advertised in the local community, on the REAP website, and social media.
When can I apply?
You can submit your application at any time before the deadline. Early submissions receive more support, including checking for completeness and required documents. All applications will be acknowledged within 24 hours, and if you don’t receive an acknowledgment, contact info@reapscotland.org.uk within 48 hours of submitting your application.
Who decides the funding recipients?
For Hill of Towie, the decision-making panel consists of eight members from the community, including six elected members from Botriphnnie, Boharm, and Keith, and two independent representatives from Keith Grammar School.
Edintore’s decision-making panel comprises seven members from Strathisla Community Council, Keith Community Council, and Strathbogie Community Council.
When will I be informed about the decision on my application?
The decision panel meets a month after the deadline to discuss and assess all applications. You will receive the decision from REAP within the week after the meeting.
