An exciting developmental opportunity to lead REAP has just been funded for the next 3 years. We are looking to employ a Project Manager to develop our new Power Hub fostering a community led approach to tackling fuel and rural poverty and support local initiatives in gaining inspiration and expertise for ways out of poverty.
Clearly this requires an experienced person, ready to attract funding for the development of REAP’s environmental work, whilst building on our long established and credible energy advice work, community growing and other community involved projects.
The successful candidate will be an experienced manager of staff, familiar with the responsibilities of being at the helm of an organization, and applying for funding. It will involve direct “hands on” aspects of working and supporting local groups so a sound knowledge of community development approaches is essential. We recognise this is a particularly exciting and challenging time with the global climate crisis – hence this new developmental approach for REAP, so clearly, a background or passion for environmental challenges will remain a core element.
- Based in Keith at the REAP office with some home working on a flexible basis
- Salary: £28k pro rata
- 4 days a week (28 hours)
- Contract fixed for a period of 3 years from the start date with possible future funding being sought.
This post is primarily funded from Robertson Trust with additional funds from the Energy Redress Scheme
